Obama Needs "Stupid Ideas" Czar

America’s deliberate slide into to a Marxist, third-world abyss can be explained by the fact that our president is a 48 year old spoiled brat, reckless and fickle, unfit for command. Clearly, this president needs a “stupid ideas” czar to filter out his most dangerous ideas before they can be implemented.

 

Stupid ideas like closing GITMO and trying KSM in New York City. Like a trillion dollar stimulus bill that has failed to stop the historic rise in unemployment. Like flying off to Copenhagen to campaign for the City of Chicago, only to be humiliated by the IOC.

 

Like criticizing American policy and leaders while on foreign soil. Like hiring 40 stealth czars accountable to no one.

 

And on and on it goes. An aggressive “Stupid Ideas” czar would have nipped those Obama blunders immediately.

 

Unfortunately, the elected Congressional officials charged with providing “over sight” of the Executive Branch are too danged old to see their own flaws, much less those of our dithering president.

 

Consider the ages of these Congressional stalwarts:

Does any one honestly believe that a geezer in his 70s gives a tinker’s dam about running up a federal debt that will be due and payable two generations hence?

 

The liberals listed above are interested in one thing and one thing only: Spend as much of your money on socialized medicine,illegal aliens, global warming scams and other foolishness as needed to remain in power!

 

Period!

 

Of course they insist that they are “public servants,” but with all due respect, just how much service is Robert Byrd providing? The man cannot walk, and is barely able to breathe.

 

Seems to me that a real public servant would do the honorable thing by getting out of the way and allowing a younger, more able Republican to take his fractured seat in the Senate.

 

Ala Scott Brown!

 

The same applies to Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Feinstein, McCain, and Reid. Leave office now and let your career end with an act of grace and dedication to the best interests of the American people.

 

Yes, I know that John McCain is a Republican. But folks the man is more liberal than some communists, and he is just too old to be trusted with the awesome power granted to a US Senator.

 

We need a mandatory retirement age for the weasels in Congress. How about 65?

Dismantling America

Just one year ago, would you have believed that an unelected government official, not even a Cabinet member confirmed by the Senate but simply one of the many "czars" appointed by the President, could arbitrarily cut the pay of executives in private businesses by 50 percent or 90 percent?

Did you think that another "czar" would be talking about restricting talk radio? That there would be plans afloat to subsidize newspapers-- that is, to create a situation where some newspapers' survival would depend on the government liking what they publish?

Did you imagine that anyone would even be talking about having a panel of so-called "experts" deciding who could and could not get life-saving medical treatments?

Scary as that is from a medical standpoint, it is also chilling from the standpoint of freedom. If you have a mother who needs a heart operation or a child with some dire medical condition, how free would you feel to speak out against an administration that has the power to make life and death decisions about your loved ones?

Does any of this sound like America?

How about a federal agency giving school children material to enlist them on the side of the president? Merely being assigned to sing his praises in class is apparently not enough.

How much of America would be left if the federal government continued on this path? President Obama has already floated the idea of a national police force, something we have done without for more than two centuries.

We already have local police forces all across the country and military forces for national defense, as well as the FBI for federal crimes and the National Guard for local emergencies. What would be the role of a national police force created by Barack Obama, with all its leaders appointed by him? It would seem more like the brown shirts of dictators than like anything American.

How far the President will go depends of course on how much resistance he meets. But the direction in which he is trying to go tells us more than all his rhetoric or media spin.

Barack Obama has not only said that he is out to "change the United States of America," the people he has been associated with for years have expressed in words and deeds their hostility to the values, the principles and the people of this country.

Jeremiah Wright said it with words: "God damn America!" Bill Ayers said it with bombs that he planted. Community activist goons have said it with their contempt for the rights of other people.

Among the people appointed as czars by President Obama have been people who have praised enemy dictators like Mao, who have seen the public schools as places to promote sexual practices contrary to the values of most Americans, to a captive audience of children.

Those who say that the Obama administration should have investigated those people more thoroughly before appointing them are missing the point completely. Why should we assume that Barack Obama didn't know what such people were like, when he has been associating with precisely these kinds of people for decades before he reached the White House?

Nothing is more consistent with his lifelong patterns than putting such people in government-- people who reject American values, resent Americans in general and successful Americans in particular, as well as resenting America's influence in the world.

Any miscalculation on his part would be in not thinking that others would discover what these stealth appointees were like. Had it not been for the Fox News Channel, these stealth appointees might have remained unexposed for what they are. Fox News is now high on the administration's enemies list.

Nothing so epitomizes President Obama's own contempt for American values and traditions like trying to ram two bills through Congress in his first year-- each bill more than a thousand pages long-- too fast for either of them to be read, much less discussed. That he succeeded only the first time says that some people are starting to wake up. Whether enough people will wake up in time to keep America from being dismantled, piece by piece, is another question-- and the biggest question for this generation.

Comrade Obama and His Czars

The Funk & Wagnalls Dictionary defines a Czar as: “1.) An emperor or king;  one of the former emperors of Russia; 2.) An absolute ruler; despot.”  This has never been a term used in The United States of America, a free country and democracy. It has, up until now, been a title of an official within the Communist-rulers of Russia. So why has there not been questions over the use of that Marxist term in America?  Why has no one challenged this?

Not one media outlet has spoken out about this added socialistic term and the citizens themselves are sitting back and letting it happen, seemingly not wanting to be awakened from their dogmatic slumber. I have not heard one citizen even mention this in private conversations. This transformation and takeover of our country is incredible to watch unfold.

That term itself (czar) must be rejected NOW and never used again. By citizens and media using this term matter-of-fact signifies acceptance of this part of the ‘change’ promised us by Barack Hussein Obama, and helps it all to happen. America must put its foot down once and for all…unless being enslaved is desirable.

Let’s look closer at the Czars of Comrade Obama who appointed Kevin Jennings as his Safe Schools Czar. Jennings is an open homosexual who consents to underage boys having sex with older men…as long as they use a condom. This past week, he sponsored a homosexual pornographic event disguised as “an AIDS exhibit” at Harvard University. Jennings is deeply involved in the homosexual organization, ‘Act Up!,’ an organization that has interrupted religious services in a San Francisco Catholic Church, St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, and sponsors other events like the one that just took place at Harvard University, which included such vile pictures of perverted sexual activities there that none of them can be shown on any websites. Jennings is listed as “A Proud Patron” of this event. And this is the man to make sure our schools are safe?

Then there is Obama’s “Regulatory Czar, Cass Sunstein, who just stated yesterday (10/23) that he is urging the U.S. Government to abolish marriage. He wants all couplings to be called, ‘civil unions,” where any two people can be recognized as a “domestic partnership.” Sunstein also defended the possibility of removing organs from terminally ill patients without their permission, according to worldnetdaily.com, as well as taking any organs they like from dead people without asking anyone’s permission. He also supports the possibility of taking organs from people who will not live long and removing their organs while they are still alive!

Sunstein also believes that the Constitution forbids government from refusing to pay the expenses of abortion, which is logical (in the minds of the czar) since the government pays the expenses for childbirth. Sunstein wrote that he has no problem with forcing taxpayers to fund abortions even if they morally object to their money being used for such a purpose. There is widespread suspician that Obama intends to eventually implement forced abortion, which is frequently done in communist countries such as China.

And Obama, who pushes to abort (brutally murder) babies, encourages child sex by homosexuals, wants to destroy the family, take organs from people without consent from anyone, and possibly took over the Office of President by deceit, is the man, who was given a Nobel Peace Prize? 

Actually, The One is in good company. A Nobel Prize winner for Literature (1998), Jose Saramago, a Portuguese atheist and communist said this when he received his prize: “The Bible is a manual of bad morals which has a powerful influence on our culture. Without the Bible, we would be different and probably better people.”

The clock is ticking. Citizens of America, stand up for our country and our families. Check out this website Monday for a solution. In the meantime, let’s not even recognize the word, Czar, and let that be known whenever the communistic word is used. This is America.

Socializing Society By Eliminating The Family

Cass Sunstein, Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, proposes to abolish traditional marriage as a state-sponsored institution.

As many feared, same-sex marriage may become the wedge to destroy the religious and political institutions of marriage and family.

Each new day brings to light additions to the torrent of liberal-progressive-socialist attacks upon the basic social and political institutions of Western civilization and its foundation in Judeo-Christian morality.  Reducing marriage to no more than issuance of a civil certificate acknowledging the partnering of any two people is exactly what the Soviet Union did.  The aim was, and is under Obama’s New New Deal socialism, to break down lingering vestiges of individual moral responsibility and to supplant them with servility under the supposedly classless socialist political state.

Sunstein’s proposal to degrade marriage to a civil license to any two people desiring to become partners is in direct opposition to a principal reason for the state’s sanctioning marriage. 

Historically the state was concerned primarily with the welfare of children born from a marriage.  Fathers, as well as mothers, were to have responsibility for the welfare and acculturation of their children.  The plague of illegitimate births and single-parent families is only a foretaste of what is to come if marriage is abolished as a state-sanctioned institution that gives legal rights to children and parents.  The dissolution of marriage is inseparably connected to rampant drug abuse and violent crime to which single-parent children all too frequently fall victim.

Note that sexual promiscuity was made a social norm in the 1960s and 70s by liberal-progressive-socialists like the violent and criminal Weatherman underground.  That organization was led by Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, President Obama’s close Chicago friends, supporters, and advisors.  Professor Sunstein is merely following in the tracks of Weatherman, which counseled members to arm themselves, bring the Vietnam War home, and bomb police stations, banks, and military installations, while “icing” a few police (aka pigs).

Breaking up the family as the primary social and educational element of society also opens the way for the political state to push parents aside and proselytize young children for the secular religion of socialism.  This was the intention of the Hitler Youth organization, which was to bypass traditional religion in the home and teach young people to betray parents who were not fully supportive of Hitler’s National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis) program.

In a larger context, no political state can endure without stable families,which both produce the children necessary to perpetuate the body politic, and serve as the primary educational institution for all citizens.  It was in the home that children traditionally learned the principles of fair play, courtesy and respect for their elders and playmates, and the traditions and customs that foster patriotism and make each political society a distinct and enduring body.

In the Shadow of Leviathan: America's Arising Fear-Based Society

In an article entitled “Dems Undermine Free Speech in Hate Crimes Ploy,” the Washington Examiner exposes the insidious machinations of House statists in their determination to impose totalitarian hate crime laws upon the American people. Hate crime laws do much more than undermine free speech however, for in that what one says is the result of what first takes place in the mind, hate crime laws are mind-control devices. Hate crime laws are not just alien to America’s traditional Christian-based worldview, but in violent opposition to it. They are part of a program of psycho political terrorism utilized by Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, and the Bolsheviks after they seized control of Orthodox Christian Russia and put into practice long-term plans to abolish on a vast cultural scale every vestige of belief in the Biblical God, family, morality, private property, and other signs of "the capitalist petite Bourgeoisie." By way of various sadistically brutal forms of behavior modification, torture, psychotropic drug experimentation, re-education, and psychological terror tactics, Russians were terrorized into submission while Bolsheviks systematically stole their property, confiscated and perverted their children, desecrated and blasphemed churches, crucified thousands of nuns and priests, and in general, committed monstrous crimes against humanity which took the lives of sixty-million men, women, and children. For example:

“About 200,000 clergy, many crucified, scalped and otherwise tortured, were killed during the approximately 60 years of communist rule in the former Soviet Union, a Russian commission reported this week. In addition, another 500,000 religious figures were persecuted and 40,000 churches destroyed in the period from 1922 to 1980, the report said. Half the country’s mosques and more than half the synagogues were also destroyed. “Clergymen were crucified on churches’ holy gates, shot, scalped [and] strangled,” said Alexander Yakovlev, head of the Commission for the Rehabilitation of the Victims of Political Repression. Former red-diaper baby David Horowitz observes that it is,

"not for nothing that George Orwell had to invent terms like 'double-think' and 'double- speak' to describe the universe totalitarians created."

Though publicly they describe themselves as scientific, forward-thinking, enlightened, and progressive, they are in reality, notes Horowitz,

"...religious fanatics who regard their opponents as sinners and miscreants and agents of civil darkness...when they engage an opponent it is rarely to examine and refute his argument but rather to destroy the bearer of the argument and remove him from the plan of battle." Over the course of the twentieth century, progressive religious fanatics---or in Dostoevsky's words, devilish Gnostic irreligionists---murdered anywhere between 100,000,000-200,000,000 "sinners and miscreants and agents of civil darkness."

Totalitarian Bolshevism can be understood as an umbrella under which shelters Marxist-socialism, Darwinian scientism, progressivism, positivist materialism, sex-positivism, rationalism, idealism, feminism, atheism, occultism, empiricism, relativism, and nihilism. These cancerous ideological 'isms' emerged mainly out of Enlightenment France and Germany, spawning both Marxist-socialism and Hitler’s National Socialism and today, continue to spread and secrete yet more toxic cells: heterosexism, normativism, sexism, and ageism, among others.

Whereas twentieth century's Big Brother touted himself as positivist, materialist, atheist, and 'red,' today's Big Brother is decidedly 'green,' says Steve Milloy in his book, "Green Hell." Yesterdays' ‘isms' have reshaped themselves into yet another apocalyptic, messianic, utopian- globalism, one that is blatantly spiritual and occult, pantheistic, politically correct, and in exclusive globalist salons, brazenly Luciferian.

"Without a doubt, President Obama is a true believer in the green cause. Viewing our current living standards as excessive and immoral, he's determined to downsize our lifestyles---for the good of the planet...If the greens succeed, we will see their vision for our future implemented with staggering speed. By the time you finish this book you may well be appalled by that vision, but you may also find yourself in awe of the sheer totality of the green's agenda and their single-minded determination to achieve it." As Fyodor Dostoevsky astutely observed, Progressive religious fanaticism is at bottom, the creature in rebellion against the Creator, His creation, immutable truths, and moral absolutes. Hence it is rebellion against the very idea of normal, says David Horowitz:

"the enemy is no longer a ruling class, a hegemonic race or even a dominant gender. Instead it is the sexual order of nature itself. Oppression lies in the very idea of the “normal,” the order that divides humanity into two sexes. In sum, it is little 'g' godmen, their pride swollen to satanic proportions, usurping the throne of the Creator in order to correct His ‘mistakes.’

From Karl Marx, who declared that he would “walk triumphantly like a god” through the ruins of the old Christian-based order to today’s ‘elite’ insider transnational Progressive green-spiritual globalists, all have or are proclaiming their godhood, like Barbara Marx Hubbard for example:

“We are immortal…We can create new life forms and new worlds. We are gods!” a revelation channeled from her spirit guide ‘Christ’ to Barbara Marx Hubbard, influential transnational green Progressive, one of the directors of the World Future Society along with Robert McNamara and scholars from Georgetown University, George Washington University, and the University of Maryland. (False Dawn, Lee Penn, pp. 316, 326)

Fueled by satanic pride, Bakunin—one of Karl Marx’s partners in the First International—described the emancipation of man and destruction of the old order in these words:

“The Evil One is the satanic revolt against divine authority, revolt in which we see the fecund germ of all human emancipations, the revolution. Socialists recognize each other by the words, “In the name of the one to whom a great wrong has been done.” Satan (is) the eternal rebel, the first freethinker and the emancipator of worlds (he) emancipates (and) stamps upon his brow the seal of liberty…in urging (man) to disobey and eat of the fruit of knowledge. In this revolution we will have to awaken the Devil in the people, to stir up the basest passions. Our mission is to destroy, not to edify. The passion of destruction is a creative passion.”

Considered by many to be the 19th century’s greatest apocalyptic prophet, Fyodor Dostoevsky defined the conjoined ‘isms’ and their ultimate program of the “destruction of everything” as the politics of apocalypse—in other words, the politics of catastrophic death and destruction. This is made clear by Karl Marx in his poem, Human Pride:

“With disdain I will throw my gauntlet/ Full in the face of the world/ And see the collapse of this pygmy giant/ Whose fall will not stifle my ardour/ Then will I wander godlike and victorious/ Through the ruins of the world/ And, giving my words an active voice/ I will feel equal to the Creator.”

In another piece Marx made his demonically-fueled hatred of the world and his death-wishing toward its’ people even more clear:

“A silent, unavoidable revolution is taking place in society, a revolution that cares as little about the human lives it destroys as an earthquake cares about the houses it ravages. Classes and races that are too weak to dominate the new conditions of existence will be defeated.” (Marx and Satan, Richard Wurmbrand, p. 42)

During his commencement address at Harvard in the 1970s, Alexander Solzhenitsyn raised the alarm when he warned that America was already tilting towards evil. Americans—specifically the ruling class and intelligentsia— have forgotten God said Solzhenitsyn, and embraced instead, scientistic-socialism….the politics of destruction. America is on the same highway to hell taken previously by the Russians, warned Solzhenitsyn.

Also raising the alarm is Natan Sharansky, a dissident in the former Marxist-socialist Soviet Union. Sharansky describes the Soviet Union as a tyranny where,

“there were no dissidents (because) they were simply killed immediately.” Under the terrorist-tactics of hate crime laws, speech codes, and other mind-control tactics, everyone became double thinkers. To outside observers notes Sharansky, double thinkers appear as true believers: “everybody says the same thing, everybody votes the same way, everybody speaks with passion.” But it is an illusion caused by fear of speaking the truth. These people, he noted, “live with self-censorship throughout their lives. Since the regime demands loyalty right from childhood, many don’t even notice. They just automatically control how they express themselves.” But when a “fear society disappears or becomes weak, people suddenly start saying what they feel,” Sharansky commented, and “It’s such a big relief.”

To determine if a society is fear-based, Sharansky applies what he defines as the “town square test.” In this test, if you,

“can go to the center of town and publicly express your views without being punished, you have a free society” even though that society may not be just. However, if you are “punished for your views you live in a fear society,” said Sharansky. “In such societies there are always three types of population: True believers, who accept the ideology…dissidents, who take risks to speak publicly; and double thinkers, who have doubts or disagreements about the official ideology but are afraid to express them publicly.” In conclusion, Sharansky comments that the level “of dissidence is always a function of how tough the regime is.” (The Power of Freedom, published in The American Enterprise, Apr/May 2005, pp. 38-39)

Measured by Sharanskys' town-square test we can see that America is quickly descending into a fear-based society. As her freedom-producing Christian-based worldview fades while simultaneously replaced by green-progressive totalitarianism, the three types of population described by Sharansky come into focus. In general, Progressive Liberals are the true believers. Rabid zealots, brazen liars, rebels against all authority, they freely destroy, transgress, scoff, demean, blaspheme, demonize, and otherwise psychologically terrorize the large body of fearful double thinkers.

More than fifty years ago, Conservative poet and journalist Anthony Harrigan foresaw the rise of this generations' destructive true believers. Observing that a 'process of decay' was being fostered by a modernist orthodoxy fueled by immorality, Harrigan presciently noted that:

"Modernists are determined to force acceptance of pornography as medical science, filth as artistic realism, and abnormality as a mere difference of opinion...Though the life of the country is basically decent, Americans are in the hands of a cultural ruling class, having led to destruction the humane elements in our civilization, is conducting us to ruin." For what cause? To raise up a revolutionary army of "liberal-bred" barbarians "motivated by a destructive impulse" and unchecked by "traditional values and restraints." (The Conservative Intellectual Movement of America, George H. Nash, p. 40)

With the 'cultural ruling class' seen as The Ministry of Truth, Orwell describes the diabolical 'process of decay' fostered by them:

"There was a whole chain of...departments dealing with proletarian literature....Here was produced rubbishy newspapers, containing almost nothing except sport, crime, astrology, sensational five-cent novelettes, and films oozing with sex. The rubbishy entertainment and spurious news...was referred to as prolefeed." (1984)

Protecting and fomenting the destruction of America is a vast matrix of interconnected front groups, activist organizations, and phony civil rights defenders such as the ACLU, the most infamous terroristic enforcer of politically correct ‘true belief.’ (See matrix here: http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/)

All around the outside edges are the dissidents, for example, the Conservative blog-o-sphere, Tea Partiers, Minutemen, political leaders like Jim DeMint and Randy Forbes, and a variety of Conservative organizations and civil rights defenders such as the Alliance Defense Fund.

Supremely immoral, reeking of perversity, a double-speaking transnational green-progressive leviathan is moving with crushing force across our nation, fostering obscenity and blasphemy, instilling fear and confusion into the hearts of Americans and stifling individual liberty while it perverts Americas' youth, imposes mind-control and relentlessly destroys the spiritual foundations of America’s traditional Christian-based order. Its' devilish tactics come into focus in the following examples:

1. Cultural Marxism: the politics of rebellion, perversity, and nihilism fueled by satanic pride.

2. Multiculturalism: the insidious destruction of America’s traditional culture by way of elevating all other cultures in the name of politically correct tolerance.

3. Political correctness, speech codes, and hate crime laws: a psychic-cage for the soul/mind of traditional-values Americans.

4. ‘Gay rights/’gay’ marriage: rebellion against the idea of normal.

5. Sex education: called ’sex pol’ by Marxist-socialists, it’s purpose is the subversion and perversion of our youth, the awakening of the Devil, as Bakunin said. 6. Social justice: the hammering down of everything good, everything excellent, everything normal, everything true into the perversely foul mud of demonic nothingness.

7. Critical theory: the mindless vomiting out of the acid of destructive criticism upon everything good, true, excellent, normal, and traditional.

8. Redistributive Justice: the evisceration of our standard of living and individual liberties in order to 'save the planet'---in other words, death and slavery on behalf of Gaia.

9. Sustainability: Extreme population control and theft of private property to achieve the 'new' communism--communitarianism.

10. Religious Pluralism: the erasure of America's founding Christian-based worldview by way of elevating Wicca, animism, Islam, New Age occult spirituality, Buddhism, shamanism, and atheism in the name of politically correct tolerance and diversity.

Death of Freedom

In an article entitled, "American Capitalism Gone with a Whimper," author Stanislav Mishin notes that, "on and off for the past century," Americans have been stealthily prepared to accept totalitarianism, and with the election of Barack Obama,

"It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the backdrop of a passive, hapless sheeple..."

"The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia," notes Mishin, "and a bloody test it was."

Who financed the bloody test? "Wall Street," says Mishin.

In his book "The Naked Capitalist," W. Cleon Skousen exposes the unholy alliance of bankers and capitalists collectively defined as "Wall Street" by Mishin. Skousen verifies his findings through the writings of Dr. Carroll Quigley, both a professor of history at the Foreign Service School of Georgetown University and mentor to Bill Clinton. In his opus, "Tragedy and Hope," Quigley deliberately reveals one of the worlds' best kept secrets: the existence of a gigantic leviathan of political and economic power poised to seize control of the planet.

The gargantuan power complex says Quigley, has been--right from the start---controlling Marxist-Communist-Socialist groups,

Chai Feldblum Will Threaten Religious Freedom

I was on CBN this morning with David Brody to discuss the views of lesbian lawyer Chai Feldblum who has been picked by President Obama to serve on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

As I explained to Brody, Feldlbum has some very troublesome views about sexuality, marriage, and religious freedom.

She’s on record clearly saying that the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) political agenda trumps religious freedom issues.

She doesn’t think traditional marriage is the best structure for sexual relationships.

She thinks that polyamory should be considered normal by our culture. Polyamory is a grouping of men and women into sexual relationships. A “family” could be three women and two men; five men and two women, etc.

Feldblum comes across as a lesbian version of Katie Couric – perky and likeable – but her views and her goals are extremely dangerous to religious liberties and the traditional family. She will ruthlessly enforce her own views about morality as an EEOC commissioner.

She should be soundly defeated when or if she is granted a hearing by the Senate.

Obama Nominates Radical Law School Professor For Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

President Obama has picked Chai R. Feldblum to become a member of the Employment Opportunity Commission, the federal agency which enforces workplace civil rights laws. If confirmed, she would serve 5 years on the EEOC and issue edicts that will impact all areas of employment.

Feldblum isn’t known by most Americans but her career experience and employers make her a sort of general counsel to the Forces of Darkness. She has worked for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the pro-homosexual Human Rights Campaign Fund and she founded something called the Moral Values Project, a "gender equity" group meant to sound like something conservative.

She is a lesbian and has played a major role in pushing the LGBT agenda in American culture for the past 20 years.

Feldblum is professor of law (gay studies) at Georgetown University. She is the primary author of the pro-gay/transsexual bill known as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), which is being pushed again in Congress. She is also a strategist for gay activists. She advocates the use of “incrementalism” in the achievement of the gay agenda. She wants to use incrementalism in ENDA, for example, by first covering employment and then later moving to housing and public accommodations. The same tactic was used in another Feldblum-authored bill the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) where housing was the first target and then the ADA was later expanded to cover more areas of our culture.

In the mid-1980s, Feldblum clerked for Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, the notorious liberal judge who authored the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion on demand. He invented a right to abortion not found in the Constitution. Feldblum praised him as someone who had the “ability and desire to look behind the law and see the people is not the classic way to do law …. He brings a sense of caring and compassion that will be missed.” Clearly, Feldblum favors liberal judicial activists who ignore the Constitution and who impose their own political views on the law.

She is author of such articles as:

• Moral Conflict and Liberty: Gay Rights and Religion, 72 Brook. L. Rev. 61-123 (2006).
• The Right to Define One’s Own Concept of Existence: What Lawrence Can Mean for Intersex and Transgender People, 7 Geo. J. Gender & L. 115-139 (2006).

In her paper, “Moral Conflict and Liberty: Gay Rights and Religion,” Feldblum argues for legislative and judicial “outcomes that will allow LGBT people to live lives of honesty and safety in today’s society.”

She believes that eventually, many jurisdictions will have “modified their laws” so that gays will freely marry or have civil unions with the same benefits as marriage.

She also believes that religious people who run businesses or operate other institutions have no right to deny services to gays, lesbians, bisexuals or transgendered persons. “As a general matter, once a religious person or institution enters the stream of commerce by operating an enterprise such as a doctor’s office, hospital, bookstore, hotel, treatment center and so on, I believe the enterprise must adhere to a norm of nondiscrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.”

In short, she wants the gay agenda to trump the First Amendment and religious freedom to impose the gay agenda on all Americans – including those with strongly held religious beliefs about homosexuality.

“Once again, President Obama has demonstrated there is no one too radical to serve in his administration,” said TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty.

“By picking Feldblum, he has signaled to his many fringe group fans on the Left that he will help them accomplish all of their goals to undermine the Constitution and overturn biblical morality and decency in America.

Harvard event honoring AIDS activists credits Jennings for 'gifts and grants'

The chief of President Obama's Education Department Office of Safe Schools, homosexual activist Kevin Jennings, is being credited for helping sponsor a Harvard University display honoring the work of the radical homosexual organization Act Up.

WND reported just days ago when Mass Resistance, a pro-family organization in Massachusetts that has battled over homosexual agenda points there, reported that Jennings was a part of that organization, known for its aggressive badgering of those who don't support the homosexual lifestyle.

A YouTube video revealed Jeff Davis, Jennings' "partner," addressing a banquet and saying of Jennings, "He was a member of Act Up. Act Up! So it's like – you know – here's a big gay activist. BIG gay activist!."

The video was pulled down shortly after the WND report appeared.

Now the advertising for the Harvard exhibition: "Act Up New York: Activism, Art, and the AIDS Crisis, 1987-1993," credits Kevin Jennings with others including Fred P. Hockberg and Tom Healy, Open Gate and the Barbara Lee Family Foundation for "gifts and grants" used for the project.

The display included dozens of "politically-charged posters, stickers, and other visual media that emerged during a pivotal moment of AIDS activism in New York City," according to a website promoting the effort.

Among those organizations displaying their work was "Fierce Pussy," which featured a poster of a toddler labeled "Dyke."

"Pairing text and image with penetrating anger and searing wit, ACT UP's art collectives targeted specific individuals and institutions at the local and national level, advocated for safer sex and gay and lesbian rights, and galvanized broadband support for the AIDS activism movement," the promotion states.

That group also was being featured as four "central members" will participate in a 3-day activism and print media workshop, the announcement said.

"The exhibit includes horrible anti-Catholic bigotry, child pornography, and various descriptions and depictions of sexual perversion. It also includes posters accusing various public officials of murder during the AIDS crisis of the 1980s and 1990s and a call to terrorize offices of the National Institute of Health," wrote Mass Resistance in its report on the event.

A member of the Mass Resistance group attended the event, which runs into December, when it opened just days ago.

"It was extremely disturbing. This exhibit is a 'celebration' of anger, terrorism, religious bigotry, and sexual deviance. It's considered a serious mainstream event by the elite academic and homosexual communities. In many ways it's a window into what the homosexual movement - including many who teach in colleges and high schools across the country - thinks of children, America, religion, society, and you," the report said.

"For any public official to be involved with this and funding it (much less a person in charge of directing the nation's children's 'safety') is beyond offensive. It's every parent's nightmare," the report said.

The website posted or linked several pages of reports on the event, but warned that they are "offensive and pornographic."

The group also reported that Jennings' book, "One Teacher in Ten," about homosexual teachers, was published by Alyson Books, which describes itself as "the world's oldest and largest publisher of LGBT literature."

Among the titles featured on the website are "Women of the Bite: Lesbian Vampire Erotica," "New Essential Guide to Gay and Lesbian Weddings," "Sordid Truths," and "Body Count."

The website confirmed one of its projects was "One Teacher in Ten."

According to the pro-family organization Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, Jennings already was "under fire for praising his hero, early homosexual activist Harry Hay, despite Hay's longtime, dedicated support of NAMBLA – the North American Man/Boy Love Association."

According to "The Marketing of Evil," by WND's David Kupelian, Act Up was extreme from its outset:

The defiant, storm-trooper tactics of in-your-face groups like ACT-UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) may or may not have been successful in pressuring the federal government to increase its commitment to combating AIDS. But such tactics definitely were successful in giving activist homosexuals a very bad name.

One infamous incident was the assault on New York's famed St. Patrick's Cathedral on December 10, 1989. While Cardinal John O'Connor presided over the 10:15 Sunday morning Mass, a multitude of "pro-choice" and "gay rights" activists protested angrily outside. Some, wearing gold-colored robes similar to clerical vestments, hoisted a large portrait of a pornographically altered frontal nude portrait of Jesus.

"You bigot, O'Connor, you're killing us!" screamed one protester, while signs called the archbishop "Murderer!"

Then it got really ugly. Scores of protesters entered the church, resulting in what many in the packed house of parishioners described as a "nightmare."

"The radical homosexuals turned a celebration of the Holy Eucharist into a screaming babble of sacrilege by standing in the pews, shouting and waving their fists, tossing condoms into the air," recounted the New York Post. One of the invaders grabbed a consecrated wafer and threw it to the ground.

Outside, demonstrators, many of them members of ACT-UP, carried placards that summed up their sentiments toward the Catholic Church: "Keep your church out of my crotch." "Keep your rosaries off my ovaries." "Eternal life to Cardinal John O'Connor NOW!" "Curb your dogma."

Clearly, the young movement was flirting with oblivion if it persisted in such ugly, indefensible tactics. It needed a new, more civilized direction if it ever hoped to convince Americans that homosexuality was a perfectly normal alternative lifestyle.

According to Mass Resistance research assembled by Amy Contrada, the Act Up organization also:

• Staged a "die in" at Massachusetts General Hospital to protest the unavailability of PCP drug AP.
  
  
• Protested Astra Pharmaceutical Products’'refusal to release the experimental antiviral drug Foscarnet.
  
  
• Disrupted opening night at the San Francisco Opera.
  
  
• Protested design of clinical trials planned by Harvard School of Medicine.
  
  
• Jammed phone lines of health insurance database company protesting their use of "sexual deviation" classification.
  
  
• Halted Boston's trolley service and traffic in front of Harvard School of Public Health to press the federal government into approving two new AIDS drugs.

Act Up also has covered Sen. Jesse Helms' house with a 'giant condom" and threw ashes of dead AIDS patients on the White House law, the report said.

Members of Congress have written to Obama demanding he dismiss Jennings following WND disclosures about his past, including an incident in which he counseled a 15-year-old student to keep quiet about being seduced by an older man.

Jennings says now he should have handled the situation while he was a teacher involving the sexually active student "differently," but the statement from Jennings failed to express "regret."

Jennings also wrote the foreword for a book called "Queering Elementary Education: Advancing the Dialogue about Sexualities and Schooling."

Another incident in his organization's past is the "fistgate" scandal in which his organization led discussions at a seminar where "young teens were guided on how to perform dangerous homosexual perversions including 'fisting."

Yet another issue arose over Jennings' address in a New York City church on March 20, 2000. He said:

"Twenty percent of people are hard-core fair-minded [pro-homosexual] people. Twenty percent are hard-core [anti-homosexual] bigots. We need to ignore the hard-core bigots, get more of the hard-core fair-minded people to speak up, and we'll pull that 60 percent [of people in the middle] over to our side. That's really what I think our strategy has to be. We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. We also have to quit – I'm trying to find a way to say this. I'm trying not to say, '[F—] 'em!' which is what I want to say, because I don't care what they think! [audience laughter] Drop dead!"

Starting Off Right

Last week my wife and I, along with our daughter, welcomed into the world the newest edition to our family.  Our son was born!  Hallelujah!  And while we were celebrating, members of the left were dismayed that another child had been born to a staunch, liberty loving American and that he would no doubt be taught the truth to combat their lies.

But like good bureaucrats do, they tried to interject themselves into our lives at any oportunity.  Yes, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania presented us with a nice long list of questions that they wanted us to answer, most of which were really none of their damn business and, to be honest, would violate constitutional protections on privacy of our papers and effects if they were required to be answered.

Oh, I understand the need for some of the information such as the name of our child, Magnus Wayne Jackson (a fitting name considering he was 9lb 9 oz at birth) and information about myself and my wife that would help identify us as the parents of this husky baby boy.  But, as government is apt to do, it began asking way too many questions that were frankly none of its damn business.

I know why these questions were being asked.  They were being asked to see if government hacks could justify throwing us on some welfare program or another for which they are fleecing tax payers year in and year out to fund.  Questions asked ranged from the level of education of both myself and my wife to our household income – things which are none of the state’s beeswax at this point in time and really just duplicate information that is already, I am sure, on file with them somewhere or that is provided yearly when I bang my head off the wall trying to figure out my income tax.

I pondered how to not answer these questions.  Everything from boldly writing, “None of your damn business,” across the form to quoting the founding fathers on liberty and limited government in response to each.  But eventually I just did the simple thing and did not select any of the answers provided.

What annoyed me even more than being asked all of these questions however was that the Pennsylvania was trying to be really sneaky and coerce people into answering these questions by asking them in such a way that it sounded like the questions must be answered.  Which, of course, they do not have to be.  Nowhere in the provided answers for each question was there a block that was akin to, “decline to answer” proving basically that the state was trying really, really hard to get those given these questions when their children are born to think that somehow they had no choice but to answer.  The withholding of an obvious response that would allow one to know plainly that they may opt of answering these questions was deliberately designed to make it seem as though you do not have that option!

It is sinister and plays on the ignorance of many Americans who think that because someone in the government asks you a question that you must answer and divulge the most intimate details of your life.  Thank God for not being ignorant, I repeatedly thought to myself while declining to answer the State’s questions and once again, I am sure, getting myself put on a watch list for daring to think for myself and not roll over.  But I am sure though that as soon as the arrangements are made and the proper people get into power while Americans sleep and go about their lives that there will be a cell waiting for me.

Well, at least I got my son started off on the right foot as an enemy of the nanny state.  If I have to ever spend a minute in the gulag for that I will gladly accept that punishment.

There’s a Chill in the Air

Is global warming over?  Let's take a peek at what's been happening around the world in the past year.

Michael Asher of DAILY TECH reports, "Over the past year, anecdotal evidence for a cooling planet has exploded.  China has its coldest winter in 100 years.  Baghdad sees its first snow in all recorded history.  North America has the most snow cover in 50 years, with places like Wisconsin the highest since record keeping began.  Record levels of Antarctic sea ice, record cold in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, Chile and the list goes on and on.  All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) all show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously."

The DAILY TECH report continues: "The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.656 up to 0.75 degrees C. — a value large enough to wipe out all the warming recorded over the past 100 years.  It's the fastest temperature change ever recorded, either up or down."

The NEW YORK POST headline reads:  "July 8 storm brings snow to city just north of Gotham."  That same day the high temperature at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago was 65 degrees, Chicago's coldest July 8 since 1891, while in Melbourne, Australia, temperatures have remained 10 degrees below normal.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Earth System Research Laboratory in Mauna Loa, Hawaii, has measured carbon dioxide for the past 50 years.  In December 1958, the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere was 314.67 parts per million.  In December 1998 at about the time global cooling reappeared, CO2 had increased to 366.87 ppm.  By December 2008, CO2 had advanced to 385.54 ppm, a 5.088% growth in just one decade.  CO2 concentration continues to rise.

That increase has benefits for the planet.  Crop yields are increasing.  The planet is greener.

However, as a measurement of world temperatures rise and fall, it may not have the effects that have been predicted.

Looking at the record, NOAA in its State of the Climate Report for 2008 observed, ". . . since the end of the 1970s, the average surface temperature has warmed 1 degree F.; the earth's surface is currently warming at a rate of about 0.29 degree F. per decade or 2.9 degrees F. per century; the warmest year being 1934.”

According to Tony Pann, BALTIMORE WEATHER EXAMINER, "The planet stopped warming in 1998 and has shown distinct cooling this decade."

D. Bruce Merrifield, writing for the AMERICAN THINKER, observed:  "Solar activity is now believed to have the greatest influence on climate change as global temperatures rise and fall. Solar activity is measured in cycles.

"Cycles include the 100,000 year cycle, a 41,000-year cycle, a 23-year cycle and an 11-year sun spot cycle wherein solar radiation increases and then declines.  Superimposed on the latest 100,000 year peak have been six secondary warming periods, and each has been coincident with massive surges of carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere, vastly greater than the amounts currently being generated by burning fossil fuels.

"Each of these previous warming periods was warmer than the current warming period, and current temperatures are below the median for the last 3000 years."

Merrifield continues:  "Most remarkably, civilization first emerged in the Tigris, Euphrates and Nile River Valleys about 3400 B.C. in that period of great warming, and even more remarkably, each of these secondary surges of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses (none of human origin), has also been coincident with the rise of a major civilization."

It was during this period that agriculture was invented.

"Interestingly, starting about two decades ago (1988), the total increase of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere has abruptly stopped, in spite of increased burning of fossil fuels."

The Babylonian Era emerged 3,000 years ago in the 1000 B.C. warming period.  After a period of 500 years, the Greek civilization appeared.  Next the Romans arrived some 400 years later.  A 1,000-year cold period followed, leading into the dark ages.  Crop failures caused mass starvation and freezing cold killed millions more.

If, in fact, America is entering a cold period, global warming will be remembered with the thought that warmer is better, regardless of all the "envirocrat" threats of drought, famine, storms and tornadoes.

Brian Camenker, the chief of Mass Resistance, told WND, in fact, that Harvard is just at this point opening up an exhibition on Act Up, and has thanked Jennings publicly for helping assemble the necessary components.

Also in the video, it was revealed that Davis and Jennings played host to Obama for a 2008 fundraiser that yielded $170,000 in donations.

"This is an unbelievably important election," Jennings also told the LA Times in May 2008, when asked why he co-hosted the Manhattan fundraiser.

"That should answer any doubts over whether Obama 'vetted' Jennings before his appointment as Safe Schools Czar in the Department of Education," Mass Resistance wrote in its report.

This association, and that revealed earlier of Jennings' support for Harry Hay, who was honored by the North American Man-Boy Love Association, "help us to understand Jennings' agenda behind his major accomplishments, founding GLSEN, and pushing the Massachusetts law banning 'sexual orientation' discrimination in the state's schools," Mass Resistance said.

"Jennings worked closely with another Act Up radical, David LaFontaine, who convinced Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld to establish the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth – which directly promoted homosexuality in the schools," the report said.

Act Up also has covered Sen. Jesse Helms' house with a 'giant condom" and threw ashes of dead AIDS patients on the White House lawn, the report said.

Members of Congress have written to Obama demanding he dismiss Jennings following WND disclosures about his past, including an incident in which he counseled a 15-year-old student to keep quiet about being seduced by an older man.

Jennings says now he should have handled the situation while he was a teacher involving the sexually active student "differently," but the statement from Jennings failed to express "regret."

Jennings also wrote the foreword for a book called "Queering Elementary Education: Advancing the Dialogue about Sexualities and Schooling."

Another incident in his organizatin's past is the "fistgate" scandal in which his organization led discussions at a seminar where "young teens were guided on how to perform dangerous homosexual perversions including 'fisting."

Yet another was Jennings' address in a New York City church on March 20, 2000. He said:

"Twenty percent of people are hard-core fair-minded [pro-homosexual] people. Twenty percent are hard-core [anti-homosexual] bigots. We need to ignore the hard-core bigots, get more of the hard-core fair-minded people to speak up, and we'll pull that 60 percent [of people in the middle] over to our side. That's really what I think our strategy has to be. We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. We also have to quit – I'm trying to find a way to say this. I'm trying not to say, '[F—] 'em!' which is what I want to say, because I don't care what they think! [audience laughter] Drop dead!"

If Obama had told us before his election

"If Barack Obama had campaigned on what he has actually done in his first 300 days in office, would he have been elected? That's the question so many are asking today.

If Obama had told us he would appoint 34 czars, reporting only to himself and not vetted or confirmed in the constitutional way, building a powerful unitary executive branch of government, would he have been elected? What if he had told us that his green jobs czar had been a communist, that the science czar wrote in a college textbook that compulsory "green abortions" are an acceptable way to control population growth and that the diversity czar has spoken publicly of getting white media executives to "step down" in favor of minorities?

If Obama had told us he would take over the automobile industry faster than any socialist dictator ever nationalized an industry, fire the CEO of General Motors and replace him with a Democratic Party campaign contributor, would Obama have been elected? If Obama had campaigned on closing down thousands of profitable car dealers, nearly all Republicans, would we have believed that this vindictive financial retaliation against those who didn't vote for Obama could happen in America?

If Hugo Chavez, the communist who nationalized most of Venezuela's industries, had said before the election that "Comrade Obama" would nationalize the U.S. automobile industry and Chavez would "end up to his right," would anybody have believed it? If talk shows had warned against such a socialist takeover, would the Obama-loving media have accused them of McCarthyism?

If Obama had told us he would spend $3 billion in a Cash for Clunkers program that would use taxpayers' funds to buy mostly foreign cars and grind up the used American cars traded in to make them unusable, would he have been elected?

If Obama had told us that his stimulus package is a sham because it does not create private-sector jobs (as a tax cut would do), so that the unemployment rate has risen to nearly 10 percent, with 15 million Americans unemployed plus another 11 million underemployed, could he have been elected?

If Obama had told us his Supreme Court pick would be a woman who said repeatedly that a "Latina woman" would make better decisions than "a white male," that his pick for chief State Department lawyer would be a transnationalist who wants to integrate foreign law into law binding on U.S. citizens and that his pick for regulations czar argues that animals are entitled to have lawyers to sue humans in court, would Obama have been elected?

If we had known that Obama would be totally incompetent as commander in chief of his chosen war in Afghanistan, and would not speak to the general in the field for 70 days, ignoring his dire report for six weeks, would Obama have been elected?

If Obama had told us he would have the government guarantee 90 percent of all U.S. mortgages, imposing $5 trillion in off-budget debt on U.S. taxpayers who had faithfully made their own mortgage payments, would he have been elected? And what if Obama had told us he would have the taxpayers take over 80 percent of all student loans at a cost of $1 trillion over the next decade?

If Obama had told us that he would make the U.S. government a major shareholder in Citigroup (one of the world's largest banks), would you have believed he could get away with this socialist takeover?

If Obama had admitted that his health care plan would include the same provisions for which he ran negative TV ads against Hillary Clinton (a federal mandate requiring every American to buy health insurance) and against John McCain (a tax on high-cost employer-based plans), would Obama have been elected?

And what if Obama had told us that his federal health plan would pay for all abortions without regard to the Hyde Amendment and provide full health care (including private doctor visits) to immigrants without requiring proof of legal residence?

If Obama had campaigned on increasing federal spending and debt from a multibillion-dollar level to multitrillions, would he have been elected? And what if Obama had told us that his promise to "spread the wealth around" would balloon his first year's budget deficit to $1.6 trillion?

If Obama had told us that his promise to "spread the wealth around" meant wiping out the Republican welfare reform of 1996 and increasing annual welfare spending by 39 percent to almost $1 trillion a year by the end of his first term, would he have been elected?

If Obama had declared during his campaign that his first major speech abroad would be to the Muslim world and that he would proclaim in Muslim Turkey that "one of the great strengths of the United States is ... we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation," would he have been elected?

Thanks, Mr. Glen Beck, FOX News! Where’s the rest of our News Media? Better still where are the “Experts” we elected to represent us, ones who took an Oath to ‘defend and protect our Constitution against enemies domestic and foreign?’ Nothing from the Great Defenders of our First Amendment either, i.e., “Drive-by Media” - local and national Newspapers, TV outlets like, NY Times, CNN, MSMBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNBC etc., why only FOX News, talk radio and GT? Who’s the Propagandist for our government or the responsible News Reporting Outlets? Wanna guess?

I didn’t mean to ignore you “MSMBC, CNN, etc., followers on what’s happened. Mr. Van Jones, an Avowed Radical Marxist, hired by Mr. Obama, as his “Green Czar” - Cap and Trade Bill, job consultant? “Resigned” September 12, Mr. Glen Beck, Fox News - Nightly 5:00 P.M. Eastern - exposed him for what he is, a Radical Marxist  - Communist – hired by and working in “our” White House, as advisor to “our” President? Disgusting, he’s our “Commander in Chief?” He’s hiring “his friends,” admitted Marxist, as “consultants,” to work in “our” White House? Elected “experts,” isn’t this conduct/action unacceptable by any President, where are you?

You happy you voted for “change?” We tell our children, “you’re known by the company you keep, choose your friends carefully.” Majority of you sure didn’t listen! I want my grandchildren and great grandchildren to know the “freedoms” I enjoyed growing up in the greatest nation on earth! Czar Sunstein: Take organs from 'helpless patients'

'Though it may sound grotesque, routine removal would save lives'

President Obama's newly confirmed regulatory czar defended the possibility of removing organs from terminally ill patients without their permission.

Cass Sunstein also has strongly pushed for the removal of organs from deceased individuals who did not explicitly consent to becoming organ donors.

In his 2008 book, "Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness," Sunstein and co-author Richard Thaler discussed multiple legal scenarios regarding organ donation. One possibility presented in the book, termed by Sunstein as "routine removal," posits that "the state owns the rights to body parts of people who are dead or in certain hopeless conditions, and it can remove their organs without asking anyone's permission."

"Though it may sound grotesque, routine removal is not impossible to defend," wrote Sunstein. "In theory, it would save lives, and it would do so without intruding on anyone who has any prospect for life."

Sunstein continued: "Although this approach is not used comprehensively by any state, many states do use the rule for corneas (which can be transplanted to give some blind patients sight). In some states, medical examiners performing autopsies are permitted to remove corneas without asking anyone's permission."

Sunstein's example of medical examiners removing corneas, however, applies only to patients who are already declared deceased.

After defending the position, Sunstein conceded the "routine removal" approach "violates a generally accepted principle, which is that within broad limits, individuals should be able to decide what is to be done with and to their bodies."

Still, Sunstein did not add that the removal of organs from a living individual should be banned.

Also in the same book, CNS News previously noted Sunstein argued for removing organs from deceased patients who are not registered as organ donors, a policy not without precedent. Spain and some European Union countries have been debating accepting a law of implied consent.

Writes Sunstein: "A policy that can pass libertarian muster by our standards is called presumed consent."

"Presumed consent preserves freedom of choice, but it is different from explicit consent because it shifts the default rule. Under this policy, all citizens would be presumed to be consenting donors, but they would have the opportunity to register their unwillingness to donate, and they could do so easily. We want to underline the word easily, because the harder it is to register your unwillingness to participate, the less libertarian the policy becomes."

Sunstein continues: "Although presumed consent is an extremely effective way to increase the supply of organs available for transplant, it may not be an easy sell politically. Some will object to the idea of 'presuming' anything when it comes to such a sensitive matter. We are not sure that these objections are convincing, but this is surely a domain in which forced choosing, or what is referred to in this domain as mandated choice, has considerable appeal."

Sunstein advocates making it mandatory for all citizens to register either as an organ donor or as unwilling to donate their organs.

"Mandated choice could be implemented through a simple addition to the driver's license registration scheme used in many states. With mandated choice, renewal of your driver's license would be accompanied by a requirement that you check a box stating your organ donation preferences. Your application would not be accepted unless you had checked one of the boxes. The options might include 'yes, willing to donate' and 'no, unwilling to donate.'"

Government must fund abortion

Sunstein is not shy about his view concerning rights to life or abortion.

In his 1993 book, "The Partial Constitution," Sunstein argued the government should be required to fund abortion in cases such as rape or incest.

"I have argued that the Constitution ... forbids government from refusing to pay the expenses of abortion in cases of rape or incest, at least if government pays for childbirth in such cases," Sunstein wrote.

The Obama czar asserts that funding only childbirth but not abortion "has the precise consequence of turning women into involuntary incubators."

Sunstein argues that refusing to fund abortion "would require poor women to be breeders," while co-opting women's bodies "in the service of third parties" – referring to fetuses.

Sunstein wrote he has no problem with forcing taxpayers to fund abortions even if they morally object to their money being used for such a purpose.

He wrote: "There would be no tension with the establishment clause if people with religious or other objections were forced to pay for that procedure (abortion). Indeed, taxpayers are often forced to pay for things – national defense, welfare, certain forms of art, and others – to which they have powerful moral and even religious objections."
