ELEMENTARY EPIDEMIC: 11 Uncovered Videos Show School Children Performing Praises to Obama

There are already posted disturbing videos of young school children singing/speaking praises to President Obama, but when eleven more dropped in our email box it came as quite a shock. What seemed like an aberration now appears to be a troubling pattern. 

Maybe “epidemic” is a better word.

Each one of the videos below is creepier than the last because the further down you go, the younger the children — brace yourself for kindergartners –  except for the last and most disturbing video, which you have to see to believe.

Young captive minds, easily influenced, eager for direction, enlisted into a cult of personality focused on an individual who, other than being the first black president, has yet to accomplish anything of significance. 

But Obama’s skin color has nothing to do with this. Does anyone interested in retaining their merit badge for intellectual honesty really want to argue that Condi Rice or J.C. Watts would’ve spawned a dozen-and-counting tribute videos?

This is about brainwashing our children into Leftist identity politics. Sure, the schools can argue that they had some kind of parental permission — which, if true, is somehow even more disturbing — but who even considers doing something like this with young minds? That’s a rhetorical question.  

There was some guesswork, but to the best of our ability the videos run from oldest to youngest, starting with high schoolers. We list the name of the school and the date the video was posted. From there, if it could be found (or a confident guess made), you’ll find the schools’ website, followed by the original title given to the video and any notes added by whoever uploaded to YouTube.

This is the school’s probable website. What’s going on here is explained below in the video notes.

BARACK OBAMA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — 1-31-2009

If you think the Nobel committee jumped the gun… Days after the 2008 presidential election Ludlum Elementary in Long Island petitioned and won the right to have the name of their school changed to Barack Obama Elementary. Watch this and ask yourself if the Nobel committee’s rationale couldn’t be that much different than the students questioned in the news report.

The video below isn’t of students singing but of a woman named Janelle Kirton performing the school song. The song doesn’t mention Obama, it just relies heavily on his platitudes, but pay special attention to the school decorations inter-cut throughout the video.

Former Muslim Rifqa Bary Faces Death!

Rifqa Bary is the 17-year-old girl who fled from Ohio to Florida earlier this year to escape being killed by her Muslim father. What was Bary's crime? She converted to Christianity several years ago and kept her faith hidden from her Muslim parents.

In Islam, converting to another religion is a capital offense punishable by death. Rifqa sought refuge in Florida at the home of a Christian pastor and his wife.

Tragically, a Florida court ruled that Rifqa had to be returned to Ohio and put into protective care until she reached the age of 18. However, once she was in Ohio, all deals were off.

An Ohio judge agreed with Rifqa's parents and her father's Muslim attorney to put the girl into solitary confinement. She will have her phone calls monitored and her internet use monitored as well. Her parents have been working with attorneys with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an organization with ties to Islamic extremist groups.

Bary's father, Mohamed, has denied threatening to kill his daughter, but part of Islamic theology is lying to infidels. It is called "taqqiya." This doctrine teaches Muslims to practice deception, fraud and double standards in defending Islam from infidels.

Bary's parents are also in the U.S. illegally from Sri Lanka. In addition, Rifqa Bary's parents attend the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, a hotbed of terrorist-related activities.

I fear that Bary's parents will ship Rifqa off to a mental asylum in Sri Lanka where she will be browbeaten into denouncing Christianity. If this fails, she can be legally killed for apostacy. Or, her father may simply murder her in an Islam-sanctioned "honor killing."

Harvard event honoring AIDS activists credits Jennings for 'gifts and grants'

The chief of President Obama's Education Department Office of Safe Schools, homosexual activist Kevin Jennings, is being credited for helping sponsor a Harvard University display honoring the work of the radical homosexual organization Act Up.

WND reported just days ago when Mass Resistance, a pro-family organization in Massachusetts that has battled over homosexual agenda points there, reported that Jennings was a part of that organization, known for its aggressive badgering of those who don't support the homosexual lifestyle.

A YouTube video revealed Jeff Davis, Jennings' "partner," addressing a banquet and saying of Jennings, "He was a member of Act Up. Act Up! So it's like – you know – here's a big gay activist. BIG gay activist!."

The video was pulled down shortly after the WND report appeared.

Now the advertising for the Harvard exhibition: "Act Up New York: Activism, Art, and the AIDS Crisis, 1987-1993," credits Kevin Jennings with others including Fred P. Hockberg and Tom Healy, Open Gate and the Barbara Lee Family Foundation for "gifts and grants" used for the project.

The display included dozens of "politically-charged posters, stickers, and other visual media that emerged during a pivotal moment of AIDS activism in New York City," according to a website promoting the effort.

Among those organizations displaying their work was "Fierce Pussy," which featured a poster of a toddler labeled "Dyke."

"Pairing text and image with penetrating anger and searing wit, ACT UP's art collectives targeted specific individuals and institutions at the local and national level, advocated for safer sex and gay and lesbian rights, and galvanized broadband support for the AIDS activism movement," the promotion states.

That group also was being featured as four "central members" will participate in a 3-day activism and print media workshop, the announcement said.

"The exhibit includes horrible anti-Catholic bigotry, child pornography, and various descriptions and depictions of sexual perversion. It also includes posters accusing various public officials of murder during the AIDS crisis of the 1980s and 1990s and a call to terrorize offices of the National Institute of Health," wrote Mass Resistance in its report on the event.

A member of the Mass Resistance group attended the event, which runs into December, when it opened just days ago.

"It was extremely disturbing. This exhibit is a 'celebration' of anger, terrorism, religious bigotry, and sexual deviance. It's considered a serious mainstream event by the elite academic and homosexual communities. In many ways it's a window into what the homosexual movement - including many who teach in colleges and high schools across the country - thinks of children, America, religion, society, and you," the report said.

"For any public official to be involved with this and funding it (much less a person in charge of directing the nation's children's 'safety') is beyond offensive. It's every parent's nightmare," the report said.

The website posted or linked several pages of reports on the event, but warned that they are "offensive and pornographic."

The group also reported that Jennings' book, "One Teacher in Ten," about homosexual teachers, was published by Alyson Books, which describes itself as "the world's oldest and largest publisher of LGBT literature."

Among the titles featured on the website are "Women of the Bite: Lesbian Vampire Erotica," "New Essential Guide to Gay and Lesbian Weddings," "Sordid Truths," and "Body Count."

The website confirmed one of its projects was "One Teacher in Ten."

According to the pro-family organization Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, Jennings already was "under fire for praising his hero, early homosexual activist Harry Hay, despite Hay's longtime, dedicated support of NAMBLA – the North American Man/Boy Love Association."

According to "The Marketing of Evil," by WND's David Kupelian, Act Up was extreme from its outset:

The defiant, storm-trooper tactics of in-your-face groups like ACT-UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) may or may not have been successful in pressuring the federal government to increase its commitment to combating AIDS. But such tactics definitely were successful in giving activist homosexuals a very bad name.

One infamous incident was the assault on New York's famed St. Patrick's Cathedral on December 10, 1989. While Cardinal John O'Connor presided over the 10:15 Sunday morning Mass, a multitude of "pro-choice" and "gay rights" activists protested angrily outside. Some, wearing gold-colored robes similar to clerical vestments, hoisted a large portrait of a pornographically altered frontal nude portrait of Jesus.

"You bigot, O'Connor, you're killing us!" screamed one protester, while signs called the archbishop "Murderer!"

Then it got really ugly. Scores of protesters entered the church, resulting in what many in the packed house of parishioners described as a "nightmare."

"The radical homosexuals turned a celebration of the Holy Eucharist into a screaming babble of sacrilege by standing in the pews, shouting and waving their fists, tossing condoms into the air," recounted the New York Post. One of the invaders grabbed a consecrated wafer and threw it to the ground.

Outside, demonstrators, many of them members of ACT-UP, carried placards that summed up their sentiments toward the Catholic Church: "Keep your church out of my crotch." "Keep your rosaries off my ovaries." "Eternal life to Cardinal John O'Connor NOW!" "Curb your dogma."

Clearly, the young movement was flirting with oblivion if it persisted in such ugly, indefensible tactics. It needed a new, more civilized direction if it ever hoped to convince Americans that homosexuality was a perfectly normal alternative lifestyle.

According to Mass Resistance research assembled by Amy Contrada, the Act Up organization also:

• Staged a "die in" at Massachusetts General Hospital to protest the unavailability of PCP drug AP.
  
  
• Protested Astra Pharmaceutical Products’'refusal to release the experimental antiviral drug Foscarnet.
  
  
• Disrupted opening night at the San Francisco Opera.
  
  
• Protested design of clinical trials planned by Harvard School of Medicine.
  
  
• Jammed phone lines of health insurance database company protesting their use of "sexual deviation" classification.
  
  
• Halted Boston's trolley service and traffic in front of Harvard School of Public Health to press the federal government into approving two new AIDS drugs.

Act Up also has covered Sen. Jesse Helms' house with a 'giant condom" and threw ashes of dead AIDS patients on the White House law, the report said.

Members of Congress have written to Obama demanding he dismiss Jennings following WND disclosures about his past, including an incident in which he counseled a 15-year-old student to keep quiet about being seduced by an older man.

Jennings says now he should have handled the situation while he was a teacher involving the sexually active student "differently," but the statement from Jennings failed to express "regret."

Jennings also wrote the foreword for a book called "Queering Elementary Education: Advancing the Dialogue about Sexualities and Schooling."

Another incident in his organization's past is the "fistgate" scandal in which his organization led discussions at a seminar where "young teens were guided on how to perform dangerous homosexual perversions including 'fisting."

Yet another issue arose over Jennings' address in a New York City church on March 20, 2000. He said:

"Twenty percent of people are hard-core fair-minded [pro-homosexual] people. Twenty percent are hard-core [anti-homosexual] bigots. We need to ignore the hard-core bigots, get more of the hard-core fair-minded people to speak up, and we'll pull that 60 percent [of people in the middle] over to our side. That's really what I think our strategy has to be. We have to quit being afraid of the religious right. We also have to quit – I'm trying to find a way to say this. I'm trying not to say, '[F—] 'em!' which is what I want to say, because I don't care what they think! [audience laughter] Drop dead!"

The man chosen by the Obama administration to head the Department of Education's Office of Safe Schools was an activist with the radical pro-homosexual organization Act Up, known for its aggressive badgering of those who don't support the homosexual lifestyle, according to a new report.

Mass Resistance, a pro-family organization in Massachusetts that has battled over homosexual agenda points there, has posted online a report and video documenting Kevin Jennings' participation in the extremist organization.

Brian Camenker, the chief of Mass Resistance, told WND, in fact, that Harvard is just at this point opening up an exhibition on Act Up, and has thanked Jennings publicly for helping assemble the necessary components.

Also in the video, it was revealed that Davis and Jennings played host to Obama for a 2008 fundraiser that yielded $170,000 in donations.

"This is an unbelievably important election," Jennings also told the LA Times in May 2008, when asked why he co-hosted the Manhattan fundraiser.

"That should answer any doubts over whether Obama 'vetted' Jennings before his appointment as Safe Schools Czar in the Department of Education," Mass Resistance wrote in its report.

This association, and that revealed earlier of Jennings' support for Harry Hay, who was honored by the North American Man-Boy Love Association, "help us to understand Jennings' agenda behind his major accomplishments, founding GLSEN, and pushing the Massachusetts law banning 'sexual orientation' discrimination in the state's schools," Mass Resistance said.

"Jennings worked closely with another Act Up radical, David LaFontaine, who convinced Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld to establish the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth – which directly promoted homosexuality in the schools," the report said.

Police 'arrest' Jesus image

Protesters say picture with waving middle fingers should have been targeted

A new video posted on YouTube reveals how police in Rockford, Ill., "arrested" a drawing of Jesus used by a pro-life protester at an abortion business – even though a different drawing purporting to be of Jesus waving both middle fingers at the pro-lifers was left untouched.

The video was posted by an organization called the Rockford Pro-life Initiative:

The video explains how the pro-life organization protests the taking of unborns' lives through "prayer, fasting, education and personal sacrifice."

"We come here to pray and offer assistance and options to women about to end the life of their child," the video narrator says of the actions at the site of the Northern Illinois Womens Center.

The video shows a protester shouting to someone heading into the abortion business, "Please don't do this today. Please love your baby."

Then it focuses on a window of the abortion business to reveal a drawing of Jesus with fists in the front of the picture, with both middle fingers extended.

The video notes the image violates city rules against the offensive use of images, an issue raised to the city's legal department by Bill Donohue of the Catholic League. He wrote to city officials about the issue of "the obscene portrayal of Jesus with his middle finger extended at Christians."

"When we last exchanged letters, I thought that this specific issue was resolved. But now I have learned that there is a new depiction, this time with Jesus giving the finger with both hands. Is this true? And if so, what can be done about it? My central concern is to shield local Catholics from having their religious sensibilities assaulted, and to stop this conflict from escalating," he wrote to city officials, but he did not obtain a response.

However, the video reveals that only days ago, when a protester briefly put down a drawing of Jesus he had been carrying, police approached him almost immediately, and within a short time, actually "arrested" the image, placing it in the back seat of a police cruiser.

Tribal exceptionalism

Roman Polanski and Barack Obama: One is a rapist and the other a winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Could any two men be more different? And yet they are similarly blessed — with a certain kind of attention.

The moist eyeballs and loud applause come from their respective supporters . . . two groups not all that dissimilar. And the manner ofthat attention says a whole lot about what it means to be human.

Through a Special Lens
The story was big newslast week. Filmmaker Polanski trekked to Switzerland to accept anaward, but was waylaid at the airport, nabbed for a crime to which he had pled guilty decades earlier. He had fled the U.S. before sentencing and been on the lam for 30 years. In the interim he had made a number of movies, some quite renowned.

But the rape charge was still there, and a recent documentary about the case had spurred the interest of his California prosecutors. They decided that his freedom in Europe was a slap in the face, a bad example. So they went after him.

That was merely interesting. What followed was fascinating.Hollywood folk from Ms. Debra Winger and Mr. Woody Allen to the great Harvey Weinstein were appalled that an important artist would be hounded so. A petition of protest made the rounds. Whoopi Goldberg went so far as to say that the charge to which Polanski pled guilty wasn’t “rape rape.”

True, sorta. He pled guilty to having sexual relations with a minor.Yes, there is a difference between forcible sexual relations and such relations declared unlawful because of age differences. But this is not the case upon which to hang the extremely dubious case against statutory rape laws. The court documents in the Polanski rape case show that what the man actually did was “rape rape,” to useWhoopi-ese. Polanski plied a 13-year-old girl with drugs and alcohol and continued his course even after she told him “no.”

I am pretty sure neither feminism nor common sense has undergone a major transformation, downgrading rape from crime to “no-no” on the grounds that “no” doesn’t always mean “no.”

Thankfully, the Hollywood response was not univocal. Chris Rock expressed incredulity over those who defended a director just because he had made good films.“Even Johnny Cochran don’t have the nerve to go ‘Did you see OJ play against New England?’”

But the typical Hollywood response does show us something. It shows us that a bunch of oh-so-correct eco-feminist proud-to-be-liberal celebs can make an exception . . . for one of their own.

You Have Got To Be Kidding
I wonder who was more surprised at the Norwegians’ Nobel Peace Prize announcement, President Barack Obama or every other intelligent person on the planet.

Obama himself expressed shock. But some people weren’t all that surprised. They couldn’t be, you see. They were just so gushed up with love and pride and the “yes, we can” spirit.

That Obama hasn’t actually done anything to deserve this award — all he’s done is make a bunch of speeches convincing people that yes-oh-dear-me-yes, he was for peace — is painfully obvious. He wouldn’t be the first recipient unworthy to press his soles into the footsteps of the first Peace Prize winner, Frédéric Passy.

The line of prize winners do not uniformly line up as men of peace or good will. Kissinger? Arafat?? Woodrow Wilson???

One needn’t plumb the depths of the Scandinavian soul to figure outwhy Barack Obama was chosen. Surely it’s nothing other than that theNorwegians are just so darned relieved to have that cracker Bush out ofoffice, and giddy to have a like-minded Euro-socialist ally as leader of the free world.

Silly, yes. Idiotic. But so was the Hollywood defense of Polanski.

It’s just proof of man’s tribal nature. The oh-so-cosmopolitan social democrats may think they have evolved beyond a barbaricin-group thinky mindset, but they would be wrong. In their very acts of defining who’s in the group — which deviant to hold their noses and defend (Polanski) and which exemplar to fard up to godhood (Obama) —they show themselves unable to demonstrate a truly civilized dedication to principle.

Rule of law? Not for Polanski.

Award on merit? Not for Obama.

As with the Republicans during the Bush years — when principles went out the window because the Big Spenders and obvious enemies of freedom were said to be “basically good guys,” and “ours” — fellow feeling and social identity overshadow all else.

Luckily, it looks like Polanski’s going to prison. And the NobelPeace Prize? It doesn’t really matter; it doesn’t mean much of anything. Not any more.

Money and Celebrity the New Substitute for Justice in America

Is leftism rising to the defense of evil even as it sinks to the depths of hell? Perhaps this question would have made a better title for this article but why scare readers away with what may only be construed as preachers pious platitudes.

America is busy with economic problems, the war in Afghanistan and healthcare issues, whose got time for questions of morality or theological issues? Apparently no one! While all the current issues are worthy of our attention isn’t it odd that we tend to dismiss the very issue that we ultimately ignore at the price of our own peril?

The CBS News Crimesider reported on October 5, 2009 that Roman Polanski the accused child rapist agreed to pay to make it go away. “15 years after he fled the United States, film director — and child rapist — Roman Polanski agreed to pay his sexual assault victim $500,000 to settle a lawsuit, according to court documents.”

Whether offered by the accused or extracted by civil proceedings we may be getting all too accustomed to the idea that money is a good substitute for justice. We know what O.J. had to pay and the huge sums Michael Jackson coughed up are now public record but do we actually accept this as reasonable payment for behavior or crimes that the common man would be asked to pay for with his own skin?

Now it is not just money but the weight of celebrity that is being leveraged to get the courts to stop the usual slow grinding of the wheels of justice. Celebrities who have weighed in for Polanski are the same ones who would have little mercy if the accused were a protestant minister, a catholic priest or a conservative senator or congressmen. Hollywood and leftism go hand in hand as in ‘how could they get away with what they have shown us lately from the land of filmdom if they weren’t liberals?’ Apples don’t grow on the Sycamore.

All liberals don’t agree with the few Hollywood celebs that have stood up for Polanski and as the backlash grows against those who have, it is not that all liberals speak for Hollywood but rather can we afford to forget that it is more often than not that Hollywood speaks for the liberals. Some liberals are chiming in against giving Polanski a pass but is it because they actually have a conscience or is it the close proximity of the 2010 elections? You decide.

So what is the ‘issue we ignore at our own peril?’ What is it that we tend to label as ‘preachers pious platitudes?’ In fact it is that reminder in both scripture and history that when a nation begins to disregard the precious life of its own offspring it is in the throws and last gasps of its very existence.

If 50 million abortions weren’t enough, as if trafficking in children weren’t enough, as if the disappearance of 50,000 children a year in America weren’t enough, as if exposing kindergarteners to the aspects of the gay life weren’t enough, will we now add the lessening of the punishment to child rapists to the pot? Have we crossed the line from just flirting with God’s judgment to outright asking for it? According to scripture we have.

Prior to ancient Israel’s final fall which resulted in their being banished to all of the nations to be endlessly persecuted and hated (Diaspora) they literally went in circles. They would start with complete adherence to God’s laws and statutes and in time would submit to the religions, cultures and practices of the surrounding nations until they were chastised  (usually by warfare, pestilence, diseases and captivity) when they had enough they, would cry out to God again. He would send those prophets, judges and rulers that would deliver them. But they would only start around again in the vicious cycle.

Some things appeared in their national behavior each and every time they fell to the low end of the cycle. They always succumbed to the same sins but somehow managed to forget their past as a generation or two passed into history. The acceptance of sodomy, idolatry, licentiousness and child abuse were always at the heart of their fall.

Their child abuse went as far as it could go when coupled with aligning themselves to the idolatries of the surrounding nations. They sunk so far as to offer their children to be burned in the fires lit to honor the ancient idols of the god Moloch. While they sought the favor of idols made of wood and stone, the living God who bore them from the womb grew disgusted.

“Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the Lord, like David his father: For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim. Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel. (2 Chr 28: 1-3)

The King Ahaz did it and the people joined him in the burning of their own children. But Israel still managed to do it again until they were finally kicked out of their homeland for a period of nearly 2,500 years and would not become a free and independent nation again until 1948.

Among the many sins of mankind child abuse stands in a class by itself. In the scriptures it marks the final phase of a rift between God and any particular nation. Is America approaching this critical point with its abortions, child abductions and abuse and the coddling of child rapists?

We can discuss the stimulus package and the healthcare bill until we are unable to speak but to ignore these warnings of scripture will surely be our worst nightmare. This is my pious platitude of which I am not the least bit ashamed.

Pondering the use of ‘Is leftism rising to the defense of evil even as it sinks to the depths of hell’ as the alternate title for this piece takes on a whole new meaning when it is known that the very place where the Israelites offered their children to be burned was later referred to as hell by Jesus Christ. In fact it is the term used to this day.

The place where the children were offered, a vast open area to the south of Jerusalem where refuse was dumped and where fires and worms were always festering became known as Gehenna. Christ made allusions to this former place of severe child abuse when he warned of a place of eternal torment now commonly known only as hell.

Can we afford to ignore the lives of our own offspring and resort to the perverting of justice whether in the acceptance of Roe v. Wade or the subverting of justice for child rapists? Are we willing to gamble the future of this great nation against the idea that we can? God help us to see that this is a fool’s gamble because even to win would be losing.

Teaching what to 9-year-olds?

Would you belong and pay dues to a foreign organization that is anti-morality and anti-marriage? If not, why do we allow the United States to use our taxpayers' money to pay dues for membership in UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)?

One of President Ronald Reagan's many excellent decisions was his 1984 termination of U.S. membership in this United Nations affiliate because it was corrupt, anti-Western and a vehicle for far-left propaganda. We enjoyed a nearly 20-year splendid absence from UNESCO's expensive gatherings in Paris of foreign bureaucrats promoting globalist mischief.

President George W. Bush put us back in UNESCO in 2003 as part of his steady retreat from Reaganism and devotion to an undefined new world order. President Obama hasn't yet said anything about UNESCO, but as a self-proclaimed "citizen of the world," we can assume he is pro-UNESCO.

Riding on the word "educational" in its name, UNESCO has adopted the pretense that it is in charge of prescribing curriculum for schoolchildren all over the world. UNESCO has even been trying to position itself to influence U.S. school curriculum.

In 2004 in Paris, UNESCO signed a 26-page "Cooperation Agreement" with Microsoft Corp. to develop a "master curriculum (syllabus)" for teacher training in information technologies based on standards, guidelines, benchmarks and assessment techniques. This agreement states that the syllabus will "form the basis for deriving training content to be delivered to teachers," and "UNESCO will explore how to facilitate content development."

UNESCO's director general boasted that one of the goals is to foster "worldwide curricula reflecting UNESCO values." This fall, UNESCO has been busy writing guidelines for the teaching of sex education, supposedly in order to slow the spread of HIV-AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases.

In these guidelines, UNESCO tells teachers in all countries to present abstinence until marriage as "only one of a range of choices available to young people" to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Other choices would surely be more fun.

The working draft of the guidelines calls for children ages 5 to 8 to be taught in school about masturbation (age 5 means starting in kindergarten). Children 5 to 8 years old would also be taught about same-sex couples and tolerance of different sexual orientations.

Schoolchildren ages 9 to 15 are to be given more detailed discussions about masturbation. New topics on the list for 9-year-olds include orgasm and abortion.

It's no surprise that the guidelines feature enthusiastic support of abortion. UNESCO's guidelines assert that teachers should discuss "advocacy to promote the right to and access to safe" abortion for students starting at age 12.

According to UNESCO, students should be taught that "legal abortion performed under sterile conditions by medically trained personnel is safe." Teachers should also discuss "emergency contraception" and how to get "access to safe abortion and post-abortion care."

After the news broke about what was actually in the guidelines, one of the key agencies that funded UNESCO's guidelines, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), asked that its name be removed. It's unclear whether UNFPA is critical of the guidelines, or of their explicit wording, or merely of the bad publicity generated by release of the working draft.

UNFPA's announced goal is "universal access to reproductive health services by 2015." UNFPA supports countries in using population data for policies and programs "to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV-AIDS."

The week after UNFPA pulled its name from the UNESCO guidelines, UNFPA held a conference in Berlin to train 400 activists to advocate for abortion around the world. At the end of the conference, UNFPA issued a statement urging all nations to provide taxpayer-financed abortions, to "eliminate parental ... and age restrictions" for young people to access "the full range of sexual and reproductive health information and services," and to increase funds for nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) advocating abortion and other "reproductive health-care services."

Public reaction to the UNESCO sex-ed guidelines caused UNESCO to make several changes before presenting them at the UNESCO meeting in Birmingham, England, in September. However, there was no apology for the explicitness of the sex-ed curriculum – UNESCO asserted that its guidelines are "evidence-informed and rights-based."

Criticism was not universal. Time magazine went on the attack against what it called "the knee-jerk outrage of conservative pundits" and reminded Time's readers that the UNESCO guidelines will "undergo sober and thoughtful examination in more open-minded places ... like Ethiopia."

The new Office of Safe Schools chief Kevin Jennings is so tied up with his homosexual agenda he cannot do anything else - his job, 'Safe Schools' is only about safe for the gays. He has mounted a campaign to teach that and he tested it in Massachusetts.

"In Massachusetts the effective reframing of this issue was the key to the success of the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth. We immediately seized upon the opponent's calling card – safety – and explained how homophobia represents a threat to students' safety by creating a climate where violence, name-calling, health problems, and suicide are common. Titling our report 'Making Schools Safe for Gay and Lesbian Youth,' we automatically threw our opponents onto the defensive and stole their best line of attack. This framing short-circuited their arguments and left them back-pedaling from day one."

America - we are in the middle of the ride of our life - Obama was open and up-front when running for office - he wanted to CHANGE America and he is. Will we stand still for this?

Oh this is a stomach turner - elimination of the 'age of consent' then legitimizes everything adults do to kids - we cannot be silent any longer. Do something - tell your friends - become aware - watch out - when you wake up tomorrow - you might not recognize your country.

"Gay" sex is morally good and is as "wonderful" as heterosexual relations, according to Chai Feldblum, President Obama's nominee to become commissioner for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

"Gay sex is morally good," she said. "Now you may think that might be a little crazy to go out there and say gay sex is good. But think a second. Society definitely believes that heterosexual sex is good. Right. Heterosexual sex within a certain framework – marriage – I mean, you can't get more dewy-eyed and romantic in this society about how wonderful that is."

Continued Feldblum: "If you're not being cynical for the moment, I think that does reflect a correct understanding that sex is often a basic building block for intimacy and that intimacy and connections within couples and within families are integral building blocks for a healthy society."

Feldblum is an outspoken homosexual rights activist and Georgetown law professor. She offered her sex remarks at a UCLA symposium on homosexuality available on YouTube.

Obama two weeks ago announced his intent to nominate Feldblum for commissioner of the EEOC. Feldblum previously served as legislative counsel to the AIDS Project of the American Civil Liberties Union and clerked for Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, who famously authored the controversial Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion.

Feldblum is not shy about her ideas for "revolutionizing" America's workplace and the country's social mores.

She is co-director of Workplace Flexibility 2010, which she described at the UCLA symposium as a homosexual rights group that aimed to change "the American workplace and revolutionize social mores."

"This is a war that needs to be fought, and it's not a war overseas where we are killing people in the name of liberating them. It is a war right here at home where we need to convince people that morality demands full equality for gay people," she said at the symposium.

The Bizarre Silence of Child Advocates on ACORN's Child Sex Trafficking Advice

You know what’s weird? It’s weird that child advocacy groups (secular and religious) haven’t raised more hell regarding ACORN who, on tape, in multiple locations, and on our dime, were perfectly peachy with the potential sex trafficking of little 13-year-old El Salvadoran girls. That’s what’s weird.

 

Did anyone else notice that when Giles and O’Keefe’s characters said they wanted to bring underage sex slaves from El Salvador into the United States that none of those acornites so much as blinked? None of them—as in zero, zilch, zippo—said, “Get the hell outta here! I’m calling the cops!” I know some acorners said the workers protested the pimp and prostitute’s requests but . . . uh . . . the unedited tapes slam dance that fairy tale.

 

Instead of slamming doors in Giles and O’Keefe’s faces, the wizards of ACORN, in the spirit of helping the black and brown amongst us, suggested . . .

 

- Keep ‘em (the underage prostitutes) stupid because you could lose them as hookers or they could become your competitors.

 

- Claim them as dependants on your taxes so you can milk the government teet. - Tell the little girls to keep their mouths shut or they’ll ruin your business of selling their young sex organs to adults.

 

- The San Bernardino office even offered advice to Giles and O’Keefe on how their potential Johns could beat the girls and not get busted.

 

What the heck, child protection folks?! Why the silence? I have not heard a word from you or the National Organization for Women when it would seem oh so apropos.

 

Call me loopy, but I would’ve thought somebody in your kid-defending ranks would have made the Guinness Book of World Records with the loudest angry scream ever hollered after viewing those vids. Instead, I hear crickets.

 

Question: Were you stunned into passivity by the revelation of what ACORN counseled? I can understand that because the BS these tools advocated was out of this world, inhumane, straight from the bowels of hell, and would make the most focused and hardened amongst us dazed and confused.

 

Yep, being fish slapped with that 411 could understandably make the best and the brightest go numb and silent . . . for awhile. But like witnessing any catastrophe, the initial shock should have worn off and at least one of you should have heard the internal call to duty to make a big noise to right this nasty wrong.

 

The silence is strange because from what I’ve read, the sex traffic trade can be brutal to children, y’know with the kidnapping, drugs, human containers and repeated rapes and all. It’s hardly High School Musical III or even Pretty Woman, for that matter.

 

We have heard virulent condemnation from Rush, Beck, Hannity and O’Reilly. We’ve witnessed the dissing of ACORN by the IRS, DOJ, Treasury, US Census Bureau, both the House and the Senate, Bank of America, Jay Leno and John Stewart. I even have an unconfirmed report that Satan has blocked ACORN on his Facebook page . . . but we haven’t heard diddly from you dudes.

 

Call me crazy, but this whole ACORN underage sex trafficking thingamajig is something, I would imagine, that you guys would be throwing a full-on Tasmanian fit about: namely, the government funding of un-frickin’-believable, can’t scrape it off your shoe criminal conspiracy by ACORN, a non-profit organization, to destroy kids on the most dastardly, malevolent level. I would think you all would be going Judas Priest and would be the tip of the spear in demanding a thorough probe into ACORN’s seedy “community organizing.”

Obama appointee lauded NAMBLA figure

Kevin Jennings, President Obama's Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug FreeSchools at the U.S. Department of Education, is in hot water this week for having failed to report that a 15-year-old sophomore student in his school had told him of having sex with an older man.

But failure to report what appeared to be a case of statuatory rape of a child may be the least of Jennings' worries. Lori Roman of Regular Folks United points to statements by Jennings a decade or more ago when he praised Harry Hay of the North American Association for Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which promotes the legalization of sexual abuse of young boys by older men.

Roman provides damning details and links here. She also notes that Jennings wrote the forward "to a book called Queering Elementary Education. And another fellow you may have heard of wrote one of the endorsements on the book jacket—Bill Ayers." Ayers, of course, is the Weather Underground bomber from the 1960s who is just an "acquaintance" of Obama. 

Every presidential administration ends up with scandals inspired by controversial appointees, but typically those tend to revolve around financial improprieties, conflicts of interest, or some other form of white-collar misconduct. For Obama, the scandals seem to be develping in a pattern of disclosures revolving around radical left ideology that raises questions about their fitness for any job in government.

And that in turn raises the inevitable question: Is nobody minding the White House personnel store?

UPDATE: Who was Harry Hay?

Folks at Media Matters are agitated by the above post and others pointing out Jennings' praise of Harry Hay and the latter's link to NAMBLA. Hay was not an employee or official of NAMBLA, but was during his later years, according to his entry on Wikipedia, a frequent defender of the group, including this 1983 statement: "[I]f the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what thirteen-, fourteen-, and fifteen-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world."

MM has a point - Jennings praise of Hay was not specifically in the context of the latter's support of NAMBLA. Readers will decide for themselves whether it is appropriate for an individual who publicly praised an advocate of pedophilia to be appointed Assistant Deputy Secretary of Education for Safe and Drug-Free Schools.
