The arrogant Marxists who are currently at the helm of the once decent Jefferson’s Democratic Party were totally insufferable in 2008 and during their reign of the present term. Come 2012, there are a few stronger and more descriptive epithets one could use when referring to those Marxists.
It is clear that the Hypocrats are desperate, by the innuendo, libelous attacks displayed against Governor Romney, due to Obama’s lack of (good) record to run on. Things are getting out of hand though, when we see the majority “leader” of the Senate, Mr. Harry Reid, use one of the worse attacks in the history, without any proof whatsoever and hiding behind an anonymous source, who, according to Senator Reid, told him Governor Romney hasn’t paid any taxes in ten years.
First of all, let me ask whether people agree with me or not, when I say that it is, not only degrading to the office of Majority Leader of the Senate, to use such tactics, but also, in my humble opinion, a betrayal of the Constitution, to descend to such depths, just to keep his man in office.
I believe that it would be the duty of anyone who has sworn to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States of America, to make sure that whomever is running for the White House, keeps with the Oath to preserve, defend and protect the Constitution of the U.S. More so, when all Senators also take an Oath: I, ___ ___, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
Therefore, it would be a neglect of duty for Mr. Reid, if he were to support deliberately someone who has not or will not honor that Oath. Notice that the Oath includes the possibility that the attacker could be a foreigner (Kenyan perhaps?).
Gosh! This is a bit scary since, again in my humble opinion, many members of Congress might be guilty of not keeping their oath.
Senator Reid seems to be acting as though truth didn’t matter at all as long as his “cause” wins. I sure hope that all decent Americans realize that the Democrats have descended to the bottom of the abyss and vote for Romney to save America.
Well, enough said about that for the moment. Let me take a shot at the latest abuse and attack against free speech perpetrated by a group who is in the tiniest minority. Of course I’m referring to the attack on Chick-fil-A and its head.
Most of us make decisions on where to buy or who to patronize based on our own feelings and beliefs. I do not patronize businesses that support homosexual “unions.” That’s my personal choice and I don’t give a darn whether it is politically correct or not.
Homosexuals started many years ago, by demanding equality. Fine. It is a use of a great word, as the homosexuals always chose good sounding words. Who in his right mind could oppose “equality”? “Gay” is another clever word to use since it is so…gay!
Except, homosexuals have always enjoyed equality. They always were allowed to marry like we do, only not each other. Well Joseph, where’s the equality then? Right in front of your eyes my friend; limitations in marriage have always existed and always will. For example, one cannot marry his/her mother/ father, sister/brother or even cousin. Are we now going to remove all those taboos? Bigamy is another exclusion in most religions of the world, except of course, Islam.
No one claims that those cases are discriminations, so why would it be discrimination to exclude homosexuals from marrying each other? In spite of the efforts and expenses incurred by such group, they haven’t been able to prove that there’s a homosexual gene and therefore it is not a lifestyle.
Well, like invariably in all cases similar to this one, the desire for equality has become a demand that everyone accepts and supports their lifestyle or gets punished for not doing so. Another case where the “rights” (they are not rights) of a few, infringe upon the rights of many, which is contrary to the logic of Mr. Spock of Star Trek fame. “Live long and prosper” was another one of his sayings. That’s another one that Obama hates, since he hates prosperity for those who work hard.
Be careful, be very careful; we’re on a road that brings to disaster. As I learned many years ago, “business is like an automobile, it will not run by itself, except downhill.” I’m a believer that politics is the same; take away morals and standards of behavior and downhill you go!
Stay tuned.
God Bless America!
