Pamela Geller sticks by her call to destroy Miami mosque teaching violence
If you stand for America against her enemies, you will incur the wrath of the stealth jihadists.
The Hamas-tied Islamic supremacist hate group known as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), one of the many Islamic groups listed on the American Freedom Defense Initiative’s Threats to Freedom Index, is demanding that the FBI “investigate” me because I am calling for mosques to be monitored and closed if they are meeting places for Islamic terror activity.
Last Wednesday, at my website AtlasShrugs.com, I rightly called for a jihadist mosque in Miami to be demolished because it was a hub of terror activity. That mosque should be closed. It is a threat to national security. It was a meeting place for jihadists and Islamic extremists. The Pakistani imam of the mosque, Hafiz Muhammed Sher Ali Khan, was indicted in south Florida last year for providing material support to the Pakistani Taliban. He was the ringleader of a jihadist cell that was sending huge sums to terror organizations that had orchestrated attacks on American targets.
Judicial Watch reports this about the terror-tied imam and his jihad cell: “In all, six people were charged with sending tens of thousands of dollars to the terrorist organization, which is associated with al-Qaida and has claimed responsibility for numerous attacks against American interests, including a 2009 suicide bombing at a U.S. military base in Afghanistan. … Khan founded an Islamic school that supports the Taliban’s jihad while living in Pakistan and continued controlling and funding it as an imam in Miami, according to a federal indictment. He used the school to provide shelter and support for Taliban soldiers and to train children how to kill Americans in Afghanistan, the indictment says. The rest of the family helped create a network that flowed money from the U.S. to Pakistan to purchase guns for the Taliban, according to the feds.”
Should his mosque be shut down for doing all this? Of course it should. And it has been done in Europe: The Taiba mosque in Hamburg, once frequented by some of the September 11 attackers,was shut down because German authorities believed it was being used as a meeting point for Muslim terrorists.
We should be doing the same thing here in America.
Terror mosques should be closed. According to a recent five-year survey, “a leading international peer-reviewed journal specializing in the empirical study of terrorism has published a study that found that 80 percent of U.S. mosques provide their worshippers with jihad-style literature promoting the use of violence against non-believers and that the imams in those mosques expressly promote that literature.”
Mosques used as meeting points for extremists and jihadists should be closed.
And you would think that a Muslim group that poses as a loyal American “civil rights” organization would agree with such a call. But instead, Hamas-tied CAIR is calling on the FBI to “investigate Pamela Geller” because I called for the mosque to be demolished.
That’s rich. The unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terror-funding trial in our nation’s history are calling on the FBI to investigate defenders of freedom and justice.
Will the FBI listen? In Obama’s America, it’s anybody’s guess, but back in 2009, according to the Investigative Project on Terrorism, “the FBI … cut off contacts with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) amid mounting concern about the ‘Muslim advocacy’ group’s roots in a Hamas-support network.” And last November, a new law cut ties between FBI and terror-tied groups.
Why isn’t CAIR calling on the FBI to investigate terror mosques? If they caired so much about the perceptions of Muslims in the United States, and about distinguishing between jihadists and “peaceful” Muslims, wouldn’t they want to expose the extremists? Why is it that Muslim groups never speak out against the Shariah and/or the jihad? Look at CAIR’s website, or that of ICNA, MSA, MSU. There is nothing ever addressing the relentless jihad here or across the world. These groups are aligned with the jihad forces.
The Department of Justice is sitting on a mountain of evidence in the aborted prosecutions of CAIR (more here, for example). Obama and Holder have scuttled those prosecutions, and Congress isdemanding an inquiry.
