He went as far as to state that America was no longer a Christian nation (which is spite of the century old efforts of the Marxists, is just a lie). Then, to further humiliate the country that had just given him temporary possession of the White House, he thank Islam for its contribution to America's beginnings.
Was I sick the day they taught the apparently obvious fact that the Mayflower Pilgrims were Muslims? I don't think so! So where did the Kenyan get his "facts"?
I predict that the Christian "Renewal" of America and other countries of the world, will be thanks to Obama. He's the best salesman for Christianity, if only by contrast with his own deeds.
Barry Soetoro and others in high places, have über-protected Muslims and covered-up or try to, many of their misdeeds.
The latest, is his repugnant dhimmitude, clearly displayed toward anything Islamic. Groveling to Islam in the face of what, some say it was a mistake of burning some Qur'ans in Afghanistan, shows his either conflict of interest, or his inability to preside over the once greatest nation in the world.
First, I'll mention what I've heard, although I didn't have the means to verify that quickly. It is my understanding that the only accepted way of destroying a Qur'an that for any reason is no longer usable, is to burn it.
Second, if my information is correct, the books were burned because the prisoners were using them to right each other messages which is, according to the book in question, a desecration of the Qur'an.
Third, American and allied troops have been serving, getting wounded and dying, to rescue the country from the oppressing Taliban.
If indeed the burning of the Qur'an is offensive to Muslims, there are diplomatic ways to handle the situation, but the moment that rioting thugs are killing American or allied soldiers, the country's leadership is the one who should apologize, not the American "President."
"We the People" is getting tired of being pushed around by the worst of the worse, with impunity, while the man who three years ago swore to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, against enemies both foreign and domestic, grovels, bows, apologizes and leaves the troops at the mercy of the thugs.
Now, I don't have anything against a proper and sincere apology, when someone has done something wrong. But what has America done wrong?
Sorry, I forgot. America saved the merchant vessels from the Barbary Pirates. No, I don't think that was wrong, do you?
America rescued Europe twice from German military domination. No, I don't think that was wrong either,, do you?
Or for instance, when Gamal Abdel Nasser, nationalized the Suez Canal, and defended it from the retaliation by France and the U.K. (I happen to think that was a mistake, but it couldn't be it, since it was Muslim Egypt who benefited from it).
America protected Europe from being overrun and absorbed behind the Iron Curtain. Nope, I don't think that was wrong even if Europe doesn't seem to appreciate enough the American sacrifice in doing so.
I got it! America has always been the first nation to came to the rescue of any country which suffered any cataclysm. Do you thing that is wrong?
O.K. Perhaps it was the Marshall Plan to help Europe recover from the devastation of WWII. What do you think?
Well, I have a great many more things to quote, but I'll finish with the fabulous amounts of food and money donated for many decades by the people of the United States of America, to countries in need.
No? Well then, I give-up.
Not without getting a few more things of my chest.
I will apologize for the burning of the Qur'an, when Islamists apologize for their cowardly and cruel attacks on Christians within their borders, just because they were Christians.
I will apologize for anything the West might have done wrong against Islam, when it apologizes for all the blood, pillaging, raping and destruction, the followers of Muhammad caused during the expansion of their domains and during their stay in those unfortunate countries.
So Mr. "President," stop apologizing for the past, and start protecting the interests of Americans; after three years plus, I think it is time for you to start doing the right thing!
God Bless America!
