Antioch, California (9/19/11) To hear that 20,000 people attend church every week in one county might seem auspicious. But when that county has a half million population, that impressive number slides down to a a tiny minority.
Such is the case of Contra Costa County nestled in Northern California's Bay Area, making this the least church-attending area in America.
These stats were given in a sermon yesterday morning by Rev. Ron Bowman of Covenant Church in Antioch, California. This was part of his sermon, "Will Everyone Be in Heaven?" The liberal socialists loudly answer, "Yes!! "Furthermore," they preach, "a loving God would never SEND someone to hell and eternal misery." (Emphasis mine)
This is a sermon I would wish everyone in America could hear since that idea (everyone goes to heaven) has been systematically trumpeted by the liberals attempting to pave the path for socialism, an ideology where God has no place and the church must be emiminated.
The mantra of the liberals is; "All paths lead to heaven," including ALL religions, or in another wording, "All paths lead to God." NO they do NOT.
But it is an important stategy for the Communist cause to weaken the church by undermining her authority by initially saying that there is no real purpose in going to church since whatever path you take will lead you to the rewards of Christianity- heaven, without any effort or change in conduct.
This 'everyone goes to heaven,' falsehood, greatly appeals to a mostly lazy population of, yes, Christians, along with non-Christians with the desire to have all the benefits of being a Christian without the moral repsonsibilities and integrity required in a Christian walk.
We hear references to a lliberal church, or a liberal pastor. There is no way that such an animal exists The term itself is an oxymoron--note MORON at the end of the description of contradictory terms brought together in one phrase. A Christian is a Christian, a liberal is a liberal. Period. It is either one or the other.
It is the liberals, meaning Socialist Communists, that have introduced and sponsored the so-called New Age Church, Emergent Church and others that re-write the Bible to strip it of moral teachings and to discard the notion of hell. See my story, Rob Bell's No Hell Doesn't Jell on this newssite or by going to: www.revaustinmiles.com
Pastor Bowman preached from Matthew 7:!3-14: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, but few there be that find it."
Rev. Ron said that the wide road is open to many more things, ideas, opportunities that may offer pleasures, including illicit ones, but the narrow way is focused toward Jesus and the goal of heaven. It is the narrow path that leads us there, not carelessly by destructive side-paths offered on the wide path.
Now Back to the liberal's statement that, "A loving God would never SEND anyone to an eternity of hell and suffering." Readers, you may be astonished to learn that I totally AGREE with that statement made by the liberal-socialists.
God does not SEND ANYONE to hell. Everyone going the way of the world is automatically on that path. That is the natural end of life. Jesus, with His hands outstretched to us says, "Take my hands, come to me and I will guide your path."
If I have a house on a rising and a big flood comes along, wiping everyone in its path out and I offer safety to my neighbors where the water will not reach, and they say, "Naw, I don't want anything to do with him, next thing ya know he will want something from me, naw I'm 'a stayin where I am. I don't believe in him."
The flood hits full force, and the neighbors seeing it coming say, "How....why did that neighbor let such a terrible thing happen? Why, I won't ever even believe that he even exists!" The last cry before the gurgles of a drowning person, while the neighbor who offerred him help sits on the safe higher ground watching and shaking his head.
So world, you've been lied to. There is only ONE way to heaven, the narrow path with Jesus in view throughout your lives. He is not SENDING any of us to hell. That is the natural path everyone is on. He is simply saying, "Take my hand and you will be saved."
Rev. Ron Bowman is an excellent preacher. Best of all, he has been observed by this writer, and members of his congregation as, "A man who walks the walk. A man of God." What a JOY to meet such a man in the midst of this chaotic and corrupt world
