In 2009 I wrote an article about Barry Soetoro titled "Pants on Fire!" (available upon demand).
Two years later, if I have changed my mind it would be to write another one even stronger. The man is a compulsive liar and a con artist.
In tonight's speech, once more he blamed George W. Bush for all the existing and future problems of the nation; cleared himself of any wrongdoing; stated à la Mohammed Ali, "I'm the best, I'm the greatest," which in the case of the boxing champ, had a great deal of truth to it plus he could get away with it through humor.
Barry Soetoro though, has never accomplished anything, particularly since he usurped the White House. Let's see: he delegated to the House of Representatives and the Senate to "commission" the writing of Obamacare; he took credit for a friend writing a book for him, "Dreams from My Father; etc.
This man not only doesn't have a plan, he doesn't even have a clue about how to put a plan together! As far as we know, he was at best, a mediocre "Community Organizer" hardly able to make ends meet. Is this an accomplishment? Everything about Obama is a dark mystery and all records about him are sealed; why? What's he hiding?
We all know now what he's hiding but Congress doesn't seem to have the cojones to grab the bull by the horns and take his "presidency" down as it is their duty.
He keeps quoting Ronald Reagan in a way that implies some sort of similarity between him and the best President in modern times. Kind of paraphrasing a past V.P. candidate of his own party, "we knew Ronald Reagan; we liked Ronald Reagan and Barry, you are no Ronald Reagan!
However, should you wish to keep quoting President Reagan, use things like "government is not the solution to the problem, government IS the problem". Or, "when it comes to government, less is better." My quoting may be a little off but you get the idea.
In his usual compulsive lying way, tonight he said that he's the flexible one, the one trying to make a deal that will save the United States from catastrophe (always the savior), while the stubborn Republicans are the intransigent ones.
One small problem with that. Although it is an outright lie, some politically less knowledgeable people will probably accept his words as the gospel and swallow the whole thing.
It's a lie, because the only ones who have put forward several plans are the Republicans. The Marxist-controlled Democrats have been paralyzed mostly, because they have no plan B etc. Their whole plan is to tax more and keep on spending. Why, they are talking about another stimulus even though the previous ones failed miserably. Is that clever or what?
It is also a lie because there is no danger of the country defaulting on its obligations. There's enough revenue to keep the nation going and take the necessary time to intelligently and carefully find a long-term solution if the Democrats stop using the headlines to score points with the uncommitted voters regardless of how false their statements are. Stop campaigning! Stop using the fiscal crisis (that you've created) to get votes from the gullible Americans; just for once, speak the truth, you may like it.
As a matter of fact, John Boehner had a deal with the usurper-in-chief to somehow increase taxes in a fairer way than the one proposed by Barry Soetoro and, in a typical Marxist-tactical way, the prez moved the post once he thought that he could "win". What else is new? Has any liberal ever kept his/her word? I said liberal, because Democrats were decent people before the hijacking of their party by the extreme left.
Who are really the flexible ones?
Aside from Harry Reid's conniving Johnny-come-lately, useless proposal (with no tax increases), the Dems haven't presented any kind of plan nor do they have one to offer. All they want is to engage on a class warfare with rhetoric that will inflame the hatred for the rich, that the less fortunate may have if someone stirs the pot hard enough.
It looks to me that the man who illegally ran for president claiming to be the "unifier" is trying to start another civil war! By-the-way, in tonight's speech, Barry ridiculed Reid's plan along with the Republican plan. For Pete's sake, this "flexible" man walked away from the talks when he saw that his side didn't have any solid arguments against the Republican's plan!
The Usurper-in-chief has to learn, once and for all, that taxing the rich more than they are taxed now, will cause a chain reaction that will undoubtedly cost millions of jobs at a time when we need the opposite. But what the heck, when did the "progressives" understand anything about economics?
Obama wants the rich to pay "their fair share," I will dare the man to get the statistics available to him which will prove that the very rich are already paying, not only their fair share, but the share of the 50% of the people who don't pay taxes at all.
As they say in the southern states (which I love), "how do you like them apples"?
As far as the speech goes, the speech writer was good, he got down beautifully which buttons to push for the un-informed viewers; the teleprompter worked well to Barry's relieve because he can't put two words together without it and in short, Obama delivered the lies like a pro.
There will be no solution to the fiscal problems of America until the tax-and-spend Marxists get it through their thick heads that America doesn't have a revenue problem; it has a spending problem. As any humble house wife (not meant in a derogatory way, but in a complimentary way) could tell you, when you spend more than you earn, you have to do a very simple thing: CUT SPENDING!
Raising taxes in a poor economy as the current one is, is not only stupid; it is suicidal. And for those who are not political junkies like I am, Senator Obama voted against increasing the debt ceiling and had very harsh words against doing so.
Of course, at the time, he didn't need a crisis and to quote his pal now in Chicago again, Rahm Emmanuel, "never let a good crisis go to waste and if you don't have one, create one."
Does anyone wonder why this pathetic administration didn't tackle the issue of the debt ceiling while they had majority in both houses? Oh, sorry, that wouldn't have created a crisis they could now exploit, right?
The prez says that there's a stalemate on this issue. As the President that Barry quotes often would have said: "Well, there you go again"! The only stalemate is the one created by the one-track-mind "progressives;" We must raise the revenue (in non political language=rob the American people more of their earnings).
I tell you something that has been proven time and again throughout the world: when you drastically cut taxes for everybody (not just your union acolytes), jobs are created and government revenues increase considerably. But that is economics 101 and the "progressives" wouldn't know anything about it.
Cut entitlements; cut waste; get on with the job and stop thinking only of your re-election!
God Bless America!
